@_SimTek_ I know in the past there were questions about having a laptop do image processing. I believe the response was it was fine as long as the laptop was strapped to the robot and within the size constraints. But might be allowed with Pi hardware? The rules are not clear on that.
@_SimTek_ Not sure if I understand the question correctly - but the general rule of pi wars is that all the processing has to be on the bot. You couldn't stream to a Pi 5 base station and then send instructions back to the robot. But if the Pi 5 is on the robot that's fine.
If you want to compete in next year's Pi Wars, it's time to start thinking about the kind of robot you're going to build!
The event is open to anyone on planet Earth and will take place across the weekend of 20-21 April 2024 in Cambridge, UK.

We're a community group who've been paying for events out of our collective pockets, as with every thing/one things are starting to bite. If you could throw a few quid our way or share the link we'd appreciate it!

@AffinityWater I reported leak 47987 at Holly Dr. Berkhamsted earlier this year. This Report no longer exists. Last week it froze making driving and crossing the road very dangerous. This has been going for nearly 10 years. Is this report still open or should I report again.
Presenting: the Hacky Racers Robotic Racing Series in collaboration with #PiWars. Find out more and register your interest by 1st November! Due to take place in Cambridge, April/May 2023 - https://t.co/F1uSWz0gcu
With #PiWars sadly not running in 2023 we thought it an opportunity to start our robotic racing series and try to fill the gap. Follow the link for more info, and register, and a massive thank you to @PiWarsRobotics for the support! 1/3 https://t.co/J88WXfdzC8
@eoin@microbit_edu@Kitronik I'm using this one. It has a microbit makecode extension so is really easy to code. I'm powering it using 4 x AA batteries. https://t.co/ccQYqPWbwX
Built a quick prototype for a ball maze project I want to make using a couple of micro:bits and a Kitronic servo board. It needs a bit of work! @microbit_edu@Kitronik
