Today we present to you another protagonist behind Lucy, @dmdbradshaw. An engineer that, since highschool, knew she would work at NASA.

I am happy to share that started a new job @MuonSpace! I had a great run at SwRI and loved exploring the outer solar system with all my awesome friends. Excited to turn my focus to providing data about Earth to inform decisions in the face of climate change.

@LucyMission The spacecraft is also at its furthest from the Sun yet and won't get farther away again until the end of this year. But first, it's time to get closer to the Sun. Meanwhile, @LucyMission is still getting further away from the Earth.
Lucy is currently on a one year orbit that will bring it back to Earth for a first gravity assist (EGA1) on October 16 this year. EGA1 will increase @LucyMission orbital period to two years.
