@mattgreensheave 3/4” here. Take them off on setting 4, put them back on 3. Much lighter to swing around than 1”. Take off semi tires with a short extension on it.

@buperac @BDuchek What year of a cart is that? I’ve heard about stud issues but just pulled mine off to replace a leaking calliper and wore brake pads. No broken studs but my rim is different with a row of bolts holding the rims together. 2022.

@BDuchek 2022 91300 cart with Firestones. Run at recommended 15psi in some ugly hills…no issues with sidewalls.

@CarldeConinck It has AccuSet, not sure if that’s robbing hyd flow or not, but something is different compared to my old drill.

@CarldeConinck Not the same as your problem, but I had issues running fan 1 and shanks on same pump…wouldn’t lower drill fast enough, start meters fast enough and drop fan pressure at the start of a pass. Have since went to both fans on same pump and shanks on its own pump.

Retirement Of A Legend

On December 31, 2024, we say “See you later” to a legend in Canadian agriculture. After 45 years in the industry and ten with Gowan, @JVancha Jim Vancha will retire from his role at Gowan Agro Canada and intends to spend ample time with his wife, Kathy, and their seven precious grandchildren. Jim also looks forward to countless hours outdoors hunting and fishing.
Jim has cut a vast swath in Canadian agriculture, and almost everyone has crossed paths with him at one time or another. Any conversation about Jim produces smiles and fond memories.
Jim looks back on his career with fondness and gratitude in the Ag Industry.
“I have had an amazing opportunity to work with great people and some great companies.” “I truly enjoyed working directly with growers and helping them solve their problems.” “I am grateful for the positive advancements we have had in Agriculture, and I am thankful for the role I played in that. “We are leaving it much better off than we found it.”
Key accomplishments
1979 – Jim started working with Velsicol, selling Banvel and Dyvel in Northern Alberta
1982 – Jim started with Monsanto in Weyburn – Launched Fortress and began his journey with Avadex.
1987 – Transferred to Regina – Launched Rustler and Chem Fallow concepts into the market
1989- Transferred to Indian Head – Launched Roundup into the pressed burnoff market. Held many seminars with Jim Halford, Inventor of Conserva Pak as they shared some of the initial concepts that lead to direct seeding. Through this they refined the role that Round up would play in that movement.
1992 – Launched Pre-Harvest Roundup – was the 1st Monsanto sales rep to sell 1M liters of Rup
1996 – Launched Rup Ready canola. Helped in signing up over 2000 growers with a TUA and a new way of accessing technology
2002 – Roundup Account Manager
2007– Jim moved to Rack Petroleum and assisted in the development of the Rackateer glyphosate system
2012 – Established a crop inputs business in Biggar and saw the building of a new elevator
2014 – Jim was the first sales rep Gowan Canada hired after acquiring Avadex.
Jim has been a wealth of knowledge in these roles and always made time to help the people around him. His patient demeanor made him a favorite among so many of us and, he will be missed in the industry.
Please join me in congratulating Jim on his outstanding career, and wish him the very best in his well-deserved retirement.

@mattgreensheave @JSeimes I have a 45’ and not an issue other than the underpowered garbage kohler 38hp engine. Swapped it with a diesel last winter…was fast before but couldn’t run it full…now it’s crazy fast with the diesel.
