@tcrde@JamesMwadeghu@Moha001_Onyango Not exactly the same.
Understand bread in your case is a tangible commodity unlike kplc tokens.
Giving an example of automating the sale of commodities is like that achieved in automatic milk vendor machines(full automatic milk ATM)
Why are we still keying in 20-digit electricity tokens in 2025?
You buy power, then have to pause everything to enter a code like you’re unlocking a safe just to get lights back on. Why hasn’t KPLC automated this yet?
With all the tech at our fingertips, is it too much to ask for a system where tokens update automatically? Instant light
We’ve made strides in mobile money, banking, and transport so why does electricity still feel like a manual chore? Isn’t it time for KPLC to catch up with the times?
Make it happen. Shock everyone. Shock yourself. This mission is personal. It takes a lot to start over again, but you owe it to yourself to become everything you've ever dreamed of. Be brave. Trust the magic of new beginnings. Things will find their shape.
@jaywise102@therealchinwe@Osi_Suave You made it sound bad. Embracing the determination with a positive mindset, believing that perhaps at the end of the tunnel of academia lies a wealth of knowledge, opportunities and fulfilment.
Best career advice that I can give: Don't ever attach yourself to a person, a place, a company, an organization or a project. Attach yourself to a mission, a calling, a purpose ONLY. That's how you keep your power & your peace. It's worked pretty well for me thus far.
Taking OpenAI from a nonprofit to a for-profit company changes its entire role in society. Something this powerful should not be owned…..it should be free. Otherwise, the future of AI won’t be about progress. It’ll be about control. Sam knows this.
We need laws to keep AI open. If we don’t, a handful of corporations will dictate who gets access, how it’s used, and what information is allowed. AI is too critical to be monopolized. Where is your scruples for humanity?
As much as I hate hashtags…….

@naval The smartest people:
- constantly acquire knowledge and combine them creatively
- think in terms of probability
- have the capacity of dealing with the unexpected
- follow through despite uncertainty and obstacles
@naval Has been my experience. Formal education
*can* provide a foundation, but the smartest people take ownership of their learning.
Curiosity drives them to explore, question, and grow beyond the classroom. Lifelong learning isn’t optional—it’s a mindset.
