@CW1313CW We’ll see increased investment in the lower tiers when there’s upside of playing in the top tier with shares of top tier league TV money. Successful current MLS clubs will survive & even thrive when the safety net goes away

@bwfast The key is that the clubs that have built these connections in their communities have succeeded in spite of the MLS. The MLS won’t capture a consistent national audience without top tier stars until there’s a proper relegation to make every game truly have meaning

@theodictator It’s not expanding it’s really just consolidating. The easiest way to uncoddle MLS is to threaten all the owners with relegation & give these top USL clubs a pathway to take their place

@ManagerTactical Paramount has a financial motive to push for pro/rel given their existing deals. Why aren’t they? They’ve also built up all their subscribers for UCL, Serie A & the EFL to promote the domestic rights they’ll have in an open pyramid
