Super #ElbowsUp π¨π¦ event at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto today!
The event organizers did a great job & the mood was so boisterous & positive.
Iβm headed back to Washington this week with wind in my sails.
Thousands of patriotic π¨π¦s reminding me what itβs all about.
Today, I join Canadians around the world in celebrating not just the 60th anniversary of the raising of Canadaβs iconic red-and-white maple leaf flag but also the values of freedom, peace and diversity which it represents. #FlagDay
Rail is vitally important to the continued success and growth of Alberta's economy. Every day, it transports Alberta products to market and delivers goods to communities across the province.
Alberta Municipalities (ABmunis) has spoken with our federal counterparts and the provincial government on the potential rail transportation shutdown and the impact it could have on Alberta's communities and businesses. We are hopeful a shutdown can be avoided through last-minute negotiations between the railways and the union representing 9,000 rail workers.
We support our membersβ call for the federal government to take immediate action to help keep Canadaβs railways running smoothly.

Honoured to announce the new ambulance bay door and increased surgical capacity at the Innisfail Hospital.
Thank you Minister @AdrianaLaGrange and Mayor @commitoprogress for your support to finally make this a reality.
Local government is the most transparent and accountable of any level of government. All of our council meetings are held in public, budget deliberations are held in public, and we are face to face with our citizens everyday in our community.
It will ensure local councils and elected officials remain accountable to the citizens who elected them. Thatβs what Albertans expect, and thatβs what weβre going to do.
OPINION: Embracing the Triumphs
"Our municipalities boast remarkable accomplishments, often overshadowed by the allure of sensationalism."

FortisAlberta is proud to be part of the annual Innisfail community trade show event. It was a great turnout at the Innisfail Energy Hub booth. FortisAlberta was happy to speak on how flexible demands can help to improve utility affordability through demand side management.

The 4th annual Innisfail Pride Festival will be held in our community this June. We also have since 2005 the Innisfail Welcoming and Inclusive Community Committee.
Thank you to Minister Dreeshen @DevinDVote and his Chief of Staff Josh Bilyk for meeting with us today. We appreciate you listening and engaging in meaningful dialogue on a variety of topics important to our community.
Thank you to Innisfail Mayor Barclay @commitoprogress and Councillors for the time to discuss the provincial budget and how we can work together to make life better for Albertans. #ableg
