The CPS rigor goes like this: if you are writing a section on Chakrabarty and then you get into Foucault in the next section: CPS faculty might put you on gunpoint to ask how did this shift/transition took place.
I am about to get final comments on dissertation. All my chapters have been approved with some editing of impenetrable sections. Then, it will go for print.
More than anything, I loved working with a senior faculty. Also, I love her way of disciplining: quite a CPS thing. ❤️

@RagiWarrior criticism into account: still I find some merits to his formulations like purity-pollution and difference between change in/of the society. And more so the communities I have been studying. I find his over emphasis on religion to be a problem and also under emphasis
Got a break for a week. Soon I have an RAC and then submissions. JNU (SSS III), DU (to see a friend at faculty of Arts, North Campus) and New Delhi: quite a place.
