I’ll change my stance on it; if it happens, fantastic, but if not, not gonna get sweat it. I still have my doubts but again, we’ll see.

I really hope this move doesn’t happen.

In my opinion, with Cuypers firing at the rate he is currently, a signing like this can only destabilize that. Coupled with the fact that we still don’t have a viable chance creator in this team, to me this signing makes no sense.

Because THOSE are the formations we have used pretty much the past two months with the exception of Hugo being out for those few games. And that was because we didn’t have a striker to the level of Cuypers to do the job.

@RUhawk777 I honestly don’t see how, unless you play them in. a 4-4-2. I still think we need a chance creator who can link the midfield to Hugo that’s also not going to make Hugo feel like his position is under threat. But, as Lewa did create many chances for Barca, I suppose we will see.

@Nathan_Esp Honestly both of those would be great; we could get a bit of a middle vet who could slot in for Cuypers, however I am absolutely locked in that we really don’t create chances that well.

@fewexecptions While I agree, I also feel like if the team starts winning then that alone is a huge draw. And again with Hugo scoring at the rate he is I really feel like we don’t need him. I understand the draw but I genuinely feel like this team needs the right pieces, not the biggest ones.

@blaizeingspeed @Mshabes @sing_electric @w3stw3stw3st Even then, that’s a long shot; you’re counting on the ideas that a) Cuypers will be willing to share his minutes/spotlight with Lewa and b) that we still have a DP spot left after that happens for Silva (which, while it’s a position of need, we don’t have THAT kind of cash for).
