@BobFromAccounts I prefer black cabs to other kinds of 'accessible' taxis or ordinary cars used for private hire. Black cabs are much easier to get in and out of for me, especially with luggage and other bags/stuff.
@ThePhDPlace As an academic, I welcome more people doing PhDs and then following non academic careers. This creates a wider knowledge culture with more people in other fields who have an understanding of what academics do. This improves communication in both directions.
@giulio_mattioli I'm still getting messages about school closures 2 years after H left school. Finding out how to unsubscribe is in the too difficult category just now.
@ScotRail here's an idea - prioritise a trolley service on the 05.57 out of Aberdeen. I had to creep out the house at 5am, and the only coffee shop that opens before 6am at the station can't be relied on to open in time. Won't get anything until Edinburgh.
@BTP Nothing for ages, but in contact now. The delay is the issue. Problem could have been sorted much sooner. Now it's just making a statement, maybe.
@LNER@BTP 61016 does nothing. Coach C on the 1835 from Waverley to Aberdeen is ful of drunk loud people who think they are entitled to make a racket as if they were in a bar because they are 'celebrating' and it's a Friday. I'm on my commute. Sort it out.
@sharrond62 I suggest that you do some proper reading about 15 minute cities. You don't have stay within that radius, you will just have more choices that are accessible within that timescale without having to drive. It's actually a good thing.
@welsh_fi @iwengraf Same problem in Leeds. We also get buses that aren't showing on the tracker turning up. Sometimes I wonder if the tracking system isn't switched on by the driver when they start the route. Also little correlation between timetable, RTPI and app. Guess and wait.
