Well done to students in Y7&8 who have already started collecting sponsors for our 3rd annual charity Readathon with @ReadforGoodUK
The Readathon will take place P5 on Nov 17th, donations via ParentPay will be open until the end of term.
Fantastic to see departments engaging with reading in their subjects across school! Mrs Nuttall has done a fab job with this Health and Social Care display
It has been amazing to work with a very talented group of Y4 primary students on their writing skills over the last 7 weeks. The students have produced some fantastic pieces and engaged brilliantly.
Students in Y9 had a fantastic day at @ashtonsixthform today, they learned more about how they can continue their English studies beyond GCSE and how this can be applied within the wider world.
Exciting day for Miss Knight's Y7 class today as we video called our Pen Pals in Iowa, USA. The class had a Q&A session with Mrs Roeder's class and met their Pen Pals. It was fantastic to finally speak to you all after our exchange of letters. Thank you @BeckmanCatholic βοΈπΊπΈ
Well done to all the students who performed in this week's Powerful Poetry event in the LRC. It was wonderful to see such confident readers and wonderful supporters.
Thank you also to Miss Knight and Mrs Holding for organising the event!

βD'you ever wonder what it would be like if our positions were reversed?β
The department had an amazing time with Y8 at @OldhamColiseum watching Noughts and Crosses today. Students were full of praise for the performance!
