I cant get over the fact that so many engineers still dont grok the fundamentals of what an LLM is.

Repeat after me: its just pattern matching, it doesnt "know" anything

From leads, clients, friends, and colleagues.

So, I wanted to break it down:

1/ For a brand new website

- 0 Domain Rating
- Low backlinks
- Minimal content
- 3-6 months to start ranking
- 6-12 months for significant traffic

2/ For a small website

- 10 to 30 Domain Rating
- Some backlinks
- Some content
- 2-4 months to start ranking
- 4-9 months for significant traffic

3/ For a mature website

- 30-70 Domain Rating
- Strong backlinks
- Lots of quality content
- 1-3 months for new rankings
- 2-4 months for significant traffic jump

I base this all on my 10+ years of experience.

I've run SEO campaigns for 40+ websites, ranging in size.

SEO isn't an overnight success so don't go thinking that.

It all greatly depends on your current size and authority.
