Floella - around 8-12 months, female Lurcher shepherd cross. She arrived very shut down and afraid (no aggression), and although she is initially wary of strangers and will bark, she soon becomes attached to people.
She is desperate for a foster home or a rescue where she will get plenty of exercise to burn off her energy and provide her with the mental stimulation she needs. Floella is starting to lose a lot of weight. She's struggling in stray kennels now bouncing from one paddock wall to the other, bursting her feet open.
She will be euthanised 10th March 2025 on welfare grounds, as her current kennels feel any longer would be detrimental to her physical and mental well-being. A rescue offer from a bonefide rescues is therefore needed by the evening of the 9th March 2025. The council will not release her to emergency boarding kennels due to her welfare needs. If an offer is made, her current kennels will hold her until transport can be arranged.
WE ARE NOT ABLE TO RELEASE THESE DOGS DIRECTLY TO THE PUBLIC SO PLEASE DON'T ASK.

Ringo A016147 was loved, but his owner passed away and now his life is at risk in Fresno Animal Center CA. This handsome 8yo lost his beloved owner, who refused hospital care until he knew Ringo was safe. Ringo is vision-impaired and likely hard of hearing, making the shelter overwhelming for him. He’s not treat-motivated but loves affection and walks well on a leash—though he sometimes bumps into things. Sweet 5 year old, Kimo #A5677282, is distressed and overwhelmed in Carson Shelter in Gardena CA. He arrived on Jan 31 and is in pain when his lower back is touched, but is still gentle and tolerant of all handling. In the play yard he was stressed around some dogs and gave a low growl. He loves people—enjoying pets giving paw when examined.
