ZSL response to the sovereignty changes over the Chagos Archipelago:
ZSL's CEO @matthewsgould : “It is good news that an agreement on the sovereignty of the Chagos Archipelago has been reached. Today’s announcement will mean a new partnership can work together to protect this globally important marine environment.
"ZSL has been working for decades to understand and protect the wildlife and ecosystems of the Chagos Archipelago. So we are delighted today’s announcement commits to the establishment of a Mauritian Marine Protected Area. ZSL is committed to helping make this a success.”
