"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation" | Solo Building a Human-Agent team to $1m ARR | Ex-founding operator. Now AI In Tech.

[Corey @corey_ships]

@jmwind Cracked AI-native marketers are going to become gold dust

[Corey @corey_ships]

@i_mika_el chicken or egg problem. Results follow action, not the other way round!

[Corey @corey_ships]

I’m 31. Cheshire, UK. Work in Tech.

I’ve never had a big social presence and It made finding opportunities a hell of a lot harder than it should’ve been.

My bet is AI gets so disruptive that the most valuable thing you can own is an audience. So I’m building mine from scratch, with custom AI workflows, in public.

Building to retire my bloodline.

Looking to connect with people into:

AI agents
Claude Code
building in public
anyone else starting from zero

No one is coming. Build it yourself.

[Corey @corey_ships]

@StevBuilds Hey Steven, nice to meet you 🤝

What are you building?

[Miles @uxmiles]

Yup it's over.

We're no longer hiring motion designers.

[Corey @corey_ships]

@poteto Feels like you could collapse the majority of a Comp Sci course into system design.

If you know how to design a good system spec, AI will go away and build it without any issues

[Corey @corey_ships]

@heysagarpandya @ericosiu keeping it old skool

[Corey @corey_ships]

@Element_M1ller That motherfucker, is not real

[Corey @corey_ships]

@GeoffreyHuntley Still blows my mind that I regularly see people still mentioning they only recently used a super basic AI feature for the first time

[Corey @corey_ships]

@DaveShapi This position requires your undivided attention as well.

If you start working on their brand, yours will suffer as a result

[Corey @corey_ships]

@heysagarpandya @ericosiu Do you have any good lists?

[Corey @corey_ships]

@gdb I’m a visual learner, plus I sit infront of text AI output all day. This seems awesome

[Corey @corey_ships]

@questmoosa @grok how would you combine this with resistance training to promote as much muscle growth as possible?

[Aaron Levie @levie]

There's a huge opportunity right now in being the deployment layer for AI into the economy. The amount of work it takes to change out workflows in enterprises tends to be far greater than anyone realizes or would prefer. Clearly this is what the applied layer of AI is going to look like in the form of software and agents, but also it opens up new services firms opportunities.

Legacy systems need to be moved to the cloud, data organization and access needs to be updated, software needs to be connected to agents in new ways, workflows need to be reengineered for agents, HITL needs to be figured out for the process, evals need to be generated and maintained, and the entire system needs to be continually updated as new models get released and new capabilities emerge. And the full list may even be longer.

AI is not the same as just deploying software. Software you generally did the implementation of an existing, well understood category of technology, then stepped back and the customer kept running. With AI agents, you're delivering actual work augmentation to the organization, which has a completely different set of complexities associated with it. You're no longer deploying tools that the company is merely enabled by, you're deploying work output in a process. Completely different implementation and enablement process.

As a result, this is going to open up lots of new kinds of firms and plays for existing firms to diffuse AI into organizations. We're going to see approaches by industry, by size of company, and by problem inside of companies. Traditional SIs will modernize and adapt (some will clearly not adapt as well), and new entrants will also be founded in this period that take advantage of this window. Great time to be an FDE or FDE firm.

Abliterated models.
Private routes.
Cyber-native models.

Normally that means different providers, different keys, different endpoints, different bullshit.

VOID puts them behind one API.

[Corey @corey_ships]

@LadyVivienneVT Who is pushing for SD? Why would you want it to look shitter?

[Corey @corey_ships]

@yacineMTB I mean it just looks identical to grok bot. Can also just build on Hermes for free

[Corey @corey_ships]

@thsottiaux “We’re halving the usage of the $200 so more of you have to buy the $500 plan we are about to announce”

I fixed the post for you

[Corey @corey_ships]

@kaswizofficial this is the bit people skip when they chase smarter models

i've had an agent with plenty of IQ and zero permission sense. access fence matters more than the next bump
