It started as a folder on my desktop to manage agents and run Ralph Loops, aptly named "HQ" (s/o @GeoffreyHuntley + @mattpocockuk )
I put everyone on the @LiveRecover team on HQ and then all of our developers switched to HQ for code once they saw the output I was getting as a non-developer
Then I met @jacob_posel and we built out the full cloud ecosystem to turn this into a shared operating system for your company, building along the way:
- Easy way to /deploy mini sites, decks, reports with shareable links+access control
- /hq-secrets to enable secret sharing across team and agents without env files
- /hq-sync to enable both personal sync across devices and for teams to share skills, commands, projects, etc.

2027 prediction: A meaningful portion of eComm ad budget is moved away from Meta towards programmatic channels, primarily Connected TV.
There are 2 things converging right now that almost nobody is putting together yet.
(1) One is a wave that has been building called digital minimalism. The younger generation is more in tune with health and wellness than the ones before it, and are increasingly running phones without Instagram on them on purpose. Additionally, these are likely to be the more affluent demographics, meaning those who will spend more are increasingly less likely to be found on socials.
(2) The second piece is where those hours actually land. Most of them don't view TV the same way and are still specifically streaming TV. Netflix, Prime, Disney+, and the rest of the bundle people now treat as the default at-home entertainment surface. Which means by 2027, a hefty portion of the audience an e-commerce brand actually wants to reach will be sitting in a living room watching streaming content instead of doomscrolling a vertical feed.
Industry momentum is already pointing in the same direction:
- Marketing sentiment has shifted to treating diversification as a baseline assumption instead of a fringe play.
- Attribution platforms are publicly talking about it on their own social channels.
- Brands on sales calls are arriving with the question already answered for themselves.
- Programmatic ads are becoming increasingly smarter, designed to help digitally native brands generate returns, not just clicks (the main focus of Otherside).
What that looks like by 2027:
- More brands are buying Connected TV inventory in a more sophisticated way, with real performance measurement attached.
- The ones who treat it well will run it as a performance channel instead of an awareness checkbox. That means cross-channel retargeting, lift studies, postal-code level optimization, and the whole stack that makes streaming an actual revenue driver instead of a sexy line item on a media plan.
Brands setting up the infrastructure now will own the cleanest data when the shift hits. I'm already helping multiple large brands run lift studies leading into Q4 to prepare them for a huge, optimized BFCM.
Everyone who waits will pay the late premium, just like they did with Meta, TikTok, etc.

I have tried building a sales CRM and auto-outreach tool for my events business Commerce Catalyst for the past few months with AI.
Been pretty MEH and requiring a ton of work updating context, rules, categorizing... so much so I just keep restarting it over and trying it again with new tools or inferences.
(Hard part is all the places I've had these contacts in the past and pulling them together.)
Then in one morning with @hq_fyi it's not only done it is GORGEOUS. Holy shit this is amazing.
