@jannis the gym hero app still works and I rely on it but it’s just not in the app store anymore. So with a new phone I can’t get it. Even if you can’t work on the app can you put it on the app store?
@Lilly_Bailey_@VanHJab To have Trump’s “people” do this says something. He installed loyalists.
This was do or die…info that could cause mass destruction or get people killed. The secrets of allies defenses in a public area!
They had to act swiftly.
It was ridiculously criminal by any standard.
@beyerch Tesla’s “word” is so untrustworthy. I think it’s hilarious people think “oh yah a selfdriving tesla is the future”. This is the company that was caught spying on people’s car cameras. And you’re gonna trust them to make a car that will drive you or car longevity?
@Canada_Flag_Guy@Joelybarder@DNSWilson And not all leaders were pro Covid protection measures.
Different places approached it differently.
People could protest.
Argueably the complaining worked.
Nazis uniformly wanted Jewish death and no protests were allowed.
@Canada_Flag_Guy@Joelybarder@DNSWilson The Nazi’s plan from the beginning was always to eliminate the Jews /
torture them. With covid leaders wanted the opposite. To prevent dying. Maybe they went about it wrong. Now people do as they please. Trivializing the holocaust, comparing it to inconvenience is antisemitic.
@Canada_Flag_Guy@Joelybarder@DNSWilson The unclean” in covid had a way to participate by a vaccine or a mask. They could easily lie. There were excemptions if you had a valid reason. Nazi’s didn’t give Jews an “out”. They wanted them dead. Covid ain’t the same as the holocaust. It’s being inconvenienced vs murder.
@JeremyShawMD On the other hand, at least if banned Ive found you can reason with the mods if you use the messaging feature. A ban on Twitter or Insta is opaque and harder to appeal I feel. I could be off base.
@jefferyess@BobC7000@TeslaSynopsis Also, waymo is strict in testing in small areas.
Tesla is much more liberal and that can result in issues.
They “control” but not to the extent that it would not cause harm. They protect against coverage of errors though by making it against the NDA.
@jefferyess@BobC7000@TeslaSynopsis Waymo tests in a way that doesn’t endanger the public.
It’s a public stunt because Tesla controls who it’s deployed to. They also prohibit negative coverage of it by testers.
It’s impressive when it works. It doesn’t mean it’s safe. Only a matter of time it does harm.
@jefferyess@BobC7000@TeslaSynopsis The red flag is them making negative videos a violation of TOS/NDA. If it was a good product they’d be fine with challenges to its greatness. Instead they threaten bans / legal action.
@jefferyess@BobC7000@TeslaSynopsis It’s a carefully controlled publicity stunt to keep the share price high. It’s no where near deployable on a massive scale and it’s a dangerous experiment.
@jefferyess@BobC7000@TeslaSynopsis It’s better than any driver in appearance because Tesla is highly selective who they let beta test (location being a factor, so they choose places they know it will work). Plus, their TOS/NDA makes it clear posting negative videos/info can result in legal action / banning.
