it’s worth mentioning that usa never had a true “lockdown” because a lot of yall are lying that there was one and it “didn’t work”. my kids’ daycare never even closed, i pulled them out but didn’t have to
The disingenuity of showing up in my mentions to say “but Jessica…what is your solution to Covid?” On an Individual level? Wear a fucking mask, this isn’t hard. That’s the solution. Wear a mask. That’s the one thing you can do on an individual level that will help. A mask.
It's just so fundamental -- to not harm others. By masking, I make an effort to avoid doing so.
Also, most people mean to be good people, and since #CovidIsntOver it's a good idea to #MaskUp.
Don't worry about standing out when you're doing the right thing.
today my coworker brought me chocolate cake for my birthday. it’s the first chocolate I’ve had in seven months since the onset of my long covid. I have gotten so much better in the last month seeing a TCM practitioner/acupuncturist & cannot recommend highly enough for #LongCovid
@MtShastaWriter Yes I had vertigo really bad for about a week after my covid infection (I also got a sinus infection which may have not helped w the vertigo). I also have more motion sickness than I ever had before and it’s been years now
I want everybody who considers themselves liberal or left leaning and now ignores COVID to apologize to at least one person who was hostile towards COVID mitigations in 2020. Not because they were right, but because it turns out you're the same.
Does no one remember life before 2020 when getting sick in the summer was rare?
Public health has made it difficult to connect COVID to long term issues unless you research it yourself. But at the very least, why arent people acknowledging that this much sickness isn’t normal?
You go to a crowded stadium with no mask, you get infected with COVID. Period.
That's the new normal you wanted, the "end of the pandemic" you so eloquently brag about. Deal with it. Don't whine or cry about it. Don't act surprised.
And get ready for the long term consequences.
see how I went to the Olympics and didn’t get covid? Very mindful, very cutesy. See how I didn’t spread covid to other people? Very demure, very respectful.

Are the Irwin family the Violet Afflecks of Australia?
Well informed & precautious of airborne infectious threats on planes
Great to see the entire family in high quality masks at the airport - Terri, Bindi, Robert & partners
Breaking: the CDC says death is mild, actually, and as long as you’re not showing symptoms, you can go to work while dead but should stay home and isolate if your flesh is in the final stages of decay.
in fact your covid vaccine from any time does not protect you from transmission. please know and understand this. you will still get and spread it. you will be protected from hospitalization and death which is worth doing
didn't see it in your recent thread @LazarusLong13, in case you missed it - the @CDCgov screaming the quiet part at the op of its lungs:
it is now (y)our job to be the medical expert when you see a medical expert.
If mask bans concern you, you need to know that the easiest, most immediate step you can take to fight back is to start wearing a mask in public again if you stopped. The more people wearing masks on the street, the less likely it is that cops can single out and target people.
