Strange this is being treated as “news”. Narratives of medieval maltreatment of patients at hands of support staff there are legion. Why such malpractices have persisted over decades is anybody’s guess 👉🏼 “PGI staffer caught taking money for OPD access” https://t.co/YF1UHXqU8r
@BrigMahalingam Sir, NFU is a most logical and fair means of compensating for armed forces’ steep pyramid. Also, the suggestion for scrapping it for all does not take into account the need for compensating serving officers and officer veterans for the disparity introduced two decades ago.
@thetribunechd Status quo has proven to be “durable” enough for 40 years. The non-issue gets resurrected only when politics demands a distraction away from real issues affecting people that the governing classes have not been able to solve.
@ANI Stray dogs certainly deserve humane treatment. Judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court doesn’t state anything to the contrary. If civic authorities and animal lover entities haven’t worked to create dog pounds for stray dogs then it is upto them to introspect and take remedial measures
@Logicator1 Boeing will give you an answer? Do you know there is an official investigation ongoing for finding answers? Those with doubts can definitely start travelling by train if they want.
@ndtv I have still not overcome the trauma caused by the abysmally low quality of reporting on the tragedy by shrill, repetitive and absolutely clueless anchors one of whom even put out a statement that black boxes record weather. 🙄
@timesofindia Interesting sort of news coverage. A last “Mayday” call is now reported as mentioning “Thrust”/“falling”. Did your reporter check veracity with DGCA? “Air India plane crash: 'Thrust not achieved...falling... Mayday', AI pilot's last words” https://t.co/jRvsjqlloh
@Warrior_Mukul Some of the Officers Incharge ECHS Polyclinics get the wrong impression they are “in command” and beneficiaries are subordinates. The civilian staff, enjoying benefits of employment at expense of veterans, can sometimes take their guidance from behaviour of Officers Incharge.
@adgpi That could’ve gladdened veterans’ hearts. Best manner to ensure service delivery of quality is training #ECHS personnel to inculcate a proper sense of their role, to treat beneficiaries as stakeholders and not subordinates they might’ve shouted orders to while in service.
@Support Sir this reply to my Tweet is marked as “Probable Spam” which it is not. I’d be grateful for removal of that label. https://t.co/MY1fSBA6TG https://t.co/Qiy4TZ3x87
@coronaeight If at all (that's a big 'if') pre AVS-I Lt Col retirees finally get pensions of Col(TS) because of Hon'ble Supreme Court judgement then arrears for entire period fm 16Dec04 including #OROP fixations/revisions would need to be calculated on these lines 👉 https://t.co/2DStpSNV75
sunlit: Of Swallows And Summer ➡️ An old issue of discrimination in pension fixation gets rational judicial support after a very long time. https://t.co/bFxDtEZgJ2
@EconomicTimes So, whether a Lt Col had put in 27.5 years of service or 30.5 years of service, his revised #OROP would be the same. Similar inexplicable and apparently anomalous revision was done with effect from 2019.
@sharadsharan@Warrior_Mukul Sir, just a small issue. A veteran is not “given” a pension. Pensions are duly earned. A pension is not a gift in return of which ESM should be expected to refrain from expressing opinions. IMHO.
Cutting Edge: Short Changing The Non-Select (Up-dated) 👈🏽 I should have known even with more certainty all those years ago that those who get shortchanged, stay shortchanged, whether it is in respect of Rank Pay, #OROP or #NFFU. https://t.co/XC4LItMYeK
@SinghNavdeep True, but why absolve “decision makers” of blame? The buck, as they say, stops at their desks. How can they fall in with sinister suggestions of their underlings unless they wish to do so?
