@Andreanc@ConsumerSOS I’m a BA, and not worried about cost, but it’s 3-4 weeks out for a SO appointment, and they are only available during my work hours. I’m sorry, I’m not taking a vacation day for that. Why can’t I take a picture of my documents, submit them online and get a plate mailed to me?
@joemihevc I would be willing to bet if the city took out the Bloor W lanes in Etobicoke, or better yet, designed them with some logic, he would drop this whole thing. All politics is local and that’s HIS local!
@Bloop33@markbaldwin1 Megastar Tiger was the best and worst thing to happen to pro golf. He single-handedly raised golf’s profile (and $$$) and now these guys standing on third base think they hit a triple. Tiger earned it by beating everyone, all the time. Do the same, get the rewards.
@markbaldwin1 You want the best golf week to week with max opportunities to break in? No more exemptions for any reason. Tourneys are full field, normal cut, and based on performance over rolling 12 month period. 10 Monday Qs maybe. Cream rises and stays at the top.
@GoldeViolets@CllrAmberMorley That might not be practical, but there is no reason large portions could not be reserved for pedestrians, bikes and transit. Not every current street has to remain open to cars, nor does every one need to support all modes. Cant be everything to everybody everywhere.
@AlexUsherHESA@DavidWCochrane @CBCQueensPark Are we allowed to say yet that 80% of this whole boondoggle has nothing to do with education and everything to do with low cost labour for Cdn business and a low cost path to PR status for the “student”? Post secondary institutions are just the pawn.
@MikePMoffatt At least in Toronto/Inner Suburbs, this feels like the main story. Basically no growth in family-sized homes so everyone is fighting over what's already there, and seeing the demand, investors clear out the lower priced inventory to put up new, and more expensive, homes.
@AlexUsherHESA Broken is a bit harsh. Stale, bloated, and full of institutional weaknesses is more like it. Positive disruption is sorely needed, but it seems the only disruption on the horizon is the negative kind.
