I'm occasionally helping with review and triage for open-source projects that aren't mine and I think the single thing most likely to result in a pull request being stuck in limbo forever is a commit that does two completely unrelated things

Regardless of how legitimate it is, it shares a lot of similarities to modern scams. It may not be a scam, but it looks like one.
