It’s for sure world-altering in terms of changing how we interact with others, how we think about what counts as “real” art and prose, and I also think it’s been a big driver of creating an analog counterculture. AGI is a long way off, though.

This is absolutely true. I’ve posted 1 Substack article total, but I have 5-6 ideas cooking in Drafts and just the process of writing out ideas brings out a much higher level of critical thinking and thoroughness.

Students, academics, and anyone else who outsources their writing to LLMs will find their screens full of words and their minds emptied of thought.

I suspect, by the way, that teams' answer is that the public underrates lotto picks and overrates late firsts.

The FRP payouts last night were extreme, but if you think a FRP down the line will be later than 18 or so, use it to move up.

@DraftDeeper I really think the Jazz are taking him if he's there. But the Wiz could certainly overpay! It'd be hard to say no to 6 & 18 for 5, but if the Wiz are prepared to do that to get Ace at 3, they should be prepared to do that to get Ace at 5...

He praised the organization and coaching staff, and said he’s genuinely excited about the idea of playing alongside Victor Wembanyama.

@Ed_HunterAM So would you say development trajectory should hold more weight than age? I think that may be correct, but is also much harder to scout on--for example, certain prospects may just be held back by their role/teammates/program in ways that are hard to analyze.
