We’re going to spend $1 billion (initial estimate lol) for a new permanent roof on Olympic Stadium, if today’s reports are true. At the end of the process:

- The football team will still play in a barebones university facility that doesn’t even have seats (For real, spectators have to sit on no-back benches)
- The hockey team still won’t be able to hold outdoor games in the most hockey-mad city in the world
- The soccer team will still play in the worst facility in its league
- The tennis tournament will still have be miserable time every five to seven years when rain washes out the week
- And there still won’t be the baseball park necessary to attract a franchise in an $11B industry

What the heck are we doing? How is this possible?
