Heartiest Greetings on the 42nd Foundation Day of @aiboc_in ! ✊🇮🇳
Today, as we celebrate the 42nd Foundation Day of the All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC), we proudly remember the struggles, sacrifices and contributions of generations of bank officers who have strengthened our organisation and dedicated themselves to safeguarding the dignity, rights and welfare of the banking fraternity.
Over the past 42 years, AIBOC has emerged as a strong and united voice of bank officers, consistently standing for justice, dignity, fair service conditions and the values of public sector banking.
At a time when the banking sector is facing new challenges, the need for unity, solidarity and collective strength is greater than ever. Let us reaffirm our commitment to carry forward the proud legacy of AIBOC and continue our collective struggle for 5-Day Banking, fair and non-discriminatory PLI, better working conditions, dignity of officers and a stronger public sector banking system.
On this historic occasion, let us pledge to remain united, disciplined and resolute, and to carry forward the organisation with renewed determination and commitment.
AIBOC Zindabad! ✊
Bank Officers’ Unity Zindabad!
Unity • Struggle • Solidarity
Warm greetings and best wishes to all comrades on the 42nd Foundation Day of AIBOC! 🇮🇳✊

Totally Agree, in all their post they are criticising Leaders of UFBU, not a single post questioning GOVT or FM !! Why ? Show me single post where they question FM when she mock all PSU Banks. Even the So called प्रभारी called us anti national… Shame
Hello, bankers,
Let’s start an online movement to hold this man accountable. He, along with all the other leaders, must resign from their positions.
If you agree, please repost. If you disagree, please leave a heart. ❤️
Agree = Repost
Disagree = Heart
SUNDAY BANKING has happened before, but the context matters.
March 31, 2024 and March 31, 2019 were financial-year-end requirements. November 13, 2016 followed demonetisation. March 26, 2017 involved specific government-tax and year-end clearances.
But 27 September 2026 is different. The Government has ordered all PSU banks and RRBs to function on Sunday immediately before the 28–30 September strike, explicitly citing the need to avoid disruption from the proposed five-day closure.
So the irony writes itself:
When the Government needs banking continuity, Sunday suddenly becomes a working day.
When bankers ask for a five-day week, the same urgency disappears.
You can open the branches on Sunday, but you cannot silence the fight for 5-Day Banking.

Dear Comrades,
The fight for Five-Day Banking must not be seen merely as a struggle for implementation of an agreement that has remained pending for more than 30 months. This is a fight for our existence, our dignity, our families and our fundamental right to a humane working life.
Public Sector Bank employees serve far more customers than our private-sector counterparts. Even with private banks accounting for a substantial share of the banking market, it is overwhelmingly the Public Sector Banks and their employees who carry the burden of Government-sponsored schemes, financial inclusion, social-sector banking and the last-mile delivery of public policy.
We work for institutions owned by the people and for a Government that expects us to reach every citizen. We have never shied away from that responsibility. But those who expect us to serve the nation must also recognise one simple truth:
We are not robots. We are not machines. We are not AI tools. We are human beings.
We have families waiting for us, children who need our time, parents who need our care, and lives beyond targets, reviews, late-night meetings and relentless workplace pressure.
We are not asking for privilege. We are asking for dignity, balance and justice.
The growing culture of excessive working hours, constant pressure and an increasingly toxic work environment cannot become the new normal. Five-Day Banking is one important step towards restoring humanity to our workplaces.
Save the banker. Save the banking family. Respect the commitment already made.
Five-Day Banking is not a luxury.
It is not an unreasonable demand.
It is a just demand whose time has come.
Let us stand together, for ourselves, for our families and for the generations of bankers who will come after us.
Five-Day Banking is For Dignity. For Family. For a Humane Workplace.
March ahead with courage and unity for the three-day strike from 28th to 30th September and make it a resounding success. No fear, no threat and no intimidation can weaken our collective resolve. Officers and employees stand together , we are all strikers in this historic struggle.

#5DayBankingNow#StandWithBankers
Don’t mistake our commitment to public service for weakness.
During COVID, when many stayed home, bankers stood at the counters, handled cash, processed salaries, pensions, loans and essential banking services—putting ourselves and our families at risk.
We stood with the public then.
We stand with them now.
Respect bankers. Respect dialogue. Respect democracy.
We won’t be bullied. We won’t be silenced. We will stand together.
