@izziewinter Hi Izzie, I'm a freelance writer and left London for village life in Northern Ireland just before Covid. I don't regret it for a single second. I live 40 minutes from Belfast and just under 3 hours from Dublin and love the sense of community in my village. Hope that helps.

Like many others this weekend, I was due to hike 26 miles round the Jurassic Coast for @macmillancancer Now the walk's been cancelled due to the death of the Queen. I think it's the wrong choice and she'd be as angry as we are. We were coming from all over the UK to do the hike.

On the @stenalineUKIE ferry to Belfast. The boat is overpacked with people, families are wandering around with small children because there aren't enough seats and the noise levels are unreal. This definitely ranks as my worst travel experience ever. It's making me feel ill.
