@KentHaines NCTM has a great cross-curricular lesson on probability and genetics. It’s about sickle cell anemia. They do a hands on simulation to compare theoretical & experimental probabilities.
@quizizz I love using @quizizz lessons for retrace lessons for students who need extra time with a topic. They can be done teacher led with a group or independently. 👏👏👏
@misscalcul8 For robotics, the pandemic took away our competition. And, that made robotics less fun. We had an in person competition Friday and it reminded me of my ‘why’. I can’t wait for our next practice!
@offgridteacher I appreciate the info my kids teachers send. It’s hard for me to support my kids when I don’t know when upcoming tests are, etc. As a teacher, I know not everyone reads my newsletter, but I’m pretty sure I have at least a few students who have parents that do.
@MathByTheMt Kid President on YouTube or CNN 10 is news but for kids. I have not watch CNN 10 but have heard good things as far as it being school appropriate.
