Has the September Update changed? Or is it your (incorrect) belief that the September update always fixed this? Is there more information about this issue anywhere?
@windowsserver This was previously listed in the September Update as a "Known issue" it's now only listed in July and August saying it is resolved in the September Update. It definitely happened in the September update.
Just opened an @msexcel workbook I edit all the time, the Format Cell settings looks as below. The only language installed on my system is English (Australian) - I enter 15/7, and it reformats it to 7/15/2024.
@Microsoft Needs to stop testing everything with American settings.
Whatever @Jira has done with its search has completely ruined it. The "AI" UI was a huge downgrade but now it just doesn't find things it obviously should. Search for "Feb", and a ticket where the first word of the summary is February isn't found. It's crazy bad.
@firefox Honestly, the extensions to a damn good job at vertical tabs, so I wouldn't bother - a nicer way to hide to native tabbar would be nice though
@Kram_Burger@Google Just trying it now, liking it so far. I think I tried it way back and it was too slow, but seems they've fixed the performance issues now
Are there any good alternatives to the @Google gboard keyboard for Android? Gboard used to meet my needs perfectly but last few months changes are either incredibly poorly thought out or just outright buggy
@onedrive Can we please have an easy one click method of handling the "too many minor versions" error - your best practice is to sync our profile, and it's a pain when a settings file that an app updates hits 511 versions, and we have to figure out how to fix the sync.
It's such deep muscle memory, literally within a minute of me complaining about it, I'm searching forget to ctrl a to manually select and I hit this problem again. It's just so awful
@msexcel Can we PLEASE always highlight the Search term in the Find dialog when we hit Ctrl F? It's the most frustrating thing to ctrl f, type something just to find you've just appended it to the end of the previous value
I'm expecting to receive the 9am sms at about 3pm today. Just crazy how one configuration setting has turned @superloopau's communication on this into a complete joke.
I'm guessing that @superloopau has their sms service setup on a queue with severe throttling. That it takes something like 3 hours for an sms to be sent out to the qld client base. That's led to today's screw up.
This means that some people didn't get that update until 9am. They then issued the 7am sms, had to wait another 2h before the previous queue was finished before anyone got it, so the 7am was received by some after midday.
@EternalBrown @superloopau And a follow up at 8:52, telling me the outage is still happening (it had been fixed half an hour previous) and the next update would be at 7am
