zama paused their contracts. thorchain is halted. now zcash freezes its orchard shielded pool. the entire industry is addicted to centralized kill switches. they literally called up the node cartel over the weekend and hit the brakes.

"all funds are safe, you just can't move them." if devs can freeze a network to patch a bug, you are just trusting a multisig. censorship resistance means zero pause buttons.
