@ticklemypickleG @Stealth40k There have been a few games that released as game keys in some regions, and in cartridge in others; so it's still a possibility they release physical in North America. No chance with Bandai Namco though.

Certainly doesn't help the confusion that game keys have caused.

Currently most large AAA games come to $70 to $90 CAD (TotK or most PS5 games) new.

In the 90s, in some stores (K-Mart, Zellers) I can vouch that some games were over $100 CAD. Most were $70-$90 CAD though.

@LegacyKillaHD The article is a bit of a lie of omission; the real note is more that "all games may not be compatible with the controller", by a disclaimer on the controller.

This is likely due to differing functionality (motion controls, left-right stick press, limited C-stick directions)
