I know peeps will dunk on @bennpeifert tonight over this but props to him for taking a shot and building a firm to trade his vision. This can happen to any of us taking serious risk, the glory is in the comeback and we haven't seen the last of Ben.
@citrinowicz People focus on the economic situation, but the US can not keep the military build-up as well. Imo Iran wants to play on time until the direct threat is gone.
@darioperkins 💯. People here are so fucking naive when taking about Powell taking a stand etc. Trump's attacks work via shaping the field. Imagine the FED forcing the economy into a recession after Trump warned about it for months! They would hand him the keys to their own demise.
@darioperkins Will he force Israel to end the war in Lebanon? Will he stop marching up more troops? Will he let Iran monetize Hormus? I think it is still much to ask...
@darioperkins fwiw: I think its dangerous to look at price action and then select the comments (many of them we have heard multiple times by now) and construct a compelling story. Trump can obviously end the war at any time if he really wants but he will have to make concessions.
Israeli missiles struck and destroyed a major pharmaceutical factory in Tehran on Tuesday, raising hard questions about the limits of "dual use" targeting, and what's left of Iran's medical supply chain after years of sanctions that made it nearly impossible for foreign pharma companies to operate in the country, forcing the majority of medicine production, much of it life-saving drugs, to be done domestically.

@David_Tracey I think we should be careful not to make up ex-post reasons for price action. Maybe there are people with more info but as far as I can see today's (and yesterday's) messages are not really different from what we have read for weeks...
@vanckzhu I will admit I have zero idea what is going on at this point. Suddenly every headline what was released in some similar form 2 weeks ago makes stocks jump.
