🚨 JUST IN: The CLARITY Act has officially cleared the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, pushing ripple:native one step deeper into the U.S. federal regulatory process. 🇺🇸
For ripple:native, what happens next:
1. The CLARITY Act now moves beyond the Senate Banking Committee and closer to the full Senate process.
2. The bill may still need to be aligned with additional Senate committee work before reaching the Senate floor.
3. A full Senate vote would then follow, requiring broader bipartisan support.
4. If the Senate version differs from the House version, both chambers must reconcile the final text.
5. Once both chambers approve the same version, the bill can move to the President for signature into law.

I'm getting two vaccines next week: Tdap and shingles.
The Tdap because Kate's family has a newborn and we're visiting. Shingles for the potential longevity benefits.
Data we're looking at:
1. Lower Alzheimer risk with vaccination in 1.6 million people, 8 year follow up, age 65+
+ Tdap/Td: 30% lower relative risk
+ Shingles: 25% lower
+ Pneumococcal: 27% lower
2. Slower biological aging from shingles vaccination in 3,884 people, age 70+
Modest but significant improvements in inflammation, epigenetic and transcriptomic aging, and composite biological age. Molecular signals strongest within 3 years; inflammation benefits emerged later.
3. Better outcomes after breakthrough shingles in 38,092 people, age 50+, median 3.6y follow up In adults who developed shingles, prior vaccination was linked to:
+ 41% lower all-cause mortality
+ 21% lower MACE (MI, stroke, PE, sudden cardiac death)
+ 16% lower dementia risk
Note: all three studies are observational. They show association, not causation. A randomized controlled trial on longevity outcomes is not feasible here as you can't randomize people to skip vaccines for years. The signal is consistent across independent large cohorts, which strengthens confidence, but the possibility of healthy vaccine bias exists in all three. People who stay current on vaccines tend to have better health behaviors overall. I find the mechanistic case for shingles specifically compelling. VZV reactivation drives neuro inflammation, and vaccination appears to blunt that cascade which is why we weight this evidence more heavily than the numbers alone.
Vitamins are a MASSIVE scam
People today assume that when youre taking a vitamin, youre getting something identical to what's in food...
Like a b vitamin pill is magically extracted from a b vitamin in steak.
But what if I told you that they share almost nothing in common...and that unlike the clean marketing facade, they're synthesized from GARBAGE.
Have you ever looked into how vitamins are actually made? Theyre not magically taken out of food.
- B12 is made by fermenting GMO bacteria with corn syrup, cyanide and cobalt.
- Vitamin B1 is made by fermenting coal tar and ammonia...
- Folate is made with petroleum byproducts.
The resulting product is distilled down into white powder with loads of other chemicals.
The spec sheets for some vitamins even recommend AGAINST using them as food.
Everyone today is gobbling them up like hotcakes, assuming that they're totally safe, but did you know that vitamins are a brand new invention?
Before the 20th century, the word vitamin didn’t exist. People simply ate whole foods and nutrients as part of a natural diet.
Then in the early 1900s these compounds were isolated and named, Big Pharma and chemical conglomerates like Roche, Merck, and BASF quickly got involved.
How they were discovered is even more shady.
We discovered vitamin K, for instance, by combining fish meal with petroleum, benzene, acetone and high temperatures…
and then voila, that is VITAMIN K!
then big labs, large in china, take a bunch of other chemicals and synthesize something to match that compound....
boom, a $60 "natural" vitamin K pill
do you really think that is vitamin k? the same vitamin k you can find in food?
All in all, I’m highly skeptical that what you’d take supplementing a vitamin is anything like the “vitamin” that exists in food naturally
Vitamins are weird zombie concoctions.
Stop taking them.
