@CalgaryPolice Some ask why tickets & enforcement now & not other rallies, some suggest a prejudice re: who gets ticketed - ever think it is not "who" but "when". We now know social gatherings=high risk & AB AVE. 1,400 CASES/DAY IN LAST WEEK, RECORD 1,733 ON SUNDAY & OVER 17,000 ACTIVE CASES!!!

[Calgary Police @CalgaryPolice]

Update on enforcement of weekend #yyc anti-mask rally.

We've identified six organizers of last weekend’s anti-mask rally.

Three individuals have been served tickets in connection with the illegal gathering. Three other individuals are currently being sought & facing charges.

@SherrysBowen @YourAlberta The 15 person max indoors was in effect a week before Halloween, plus I don't often see groups of more than 4-6 trick or treating. I think we need to be disciplined now so things can get better by Christmas.

[George Takei @GeorgeTakei]

Don’t watch the Trump Town Hall tomorrow on NBC. Catch the highlights later. Don’t give Trump a ratings win. Pass it on.

Another brand of the diabetes drug metformin has been recalled because it’s contaminated with the cancer-causing agent NMDA. This one from a manufacturer in India https://t.co/rgYrUSC6Gu

[John Cusack @johncusack]

If we get out of this - IF ? - it will be journalists like @ddale8 Who held the line - will deserve our deepest respect and gratitude -

@oliverdarcy: Hell of a thing to watch CNN's @ddale8 fact-check the cascade of lies from Trump's speech.”

Vancouver: $5,000 to anyone who returns this bear to Mara. Zero questions asked. I think we all need this bear to come home.

[ikorodu bois @IkoroduB]

We so much love this movie and we hope @chrishemsworth and @netflix sees this remake, pls retweet 🙏🏽

What a man -
@eshaLegal: And the proper response to Military recruiters in your high school is the following:”

If this video doesn’t help remind us what type of heroic spirits nurses are, I don’t know what does! Today is #InternationalNursesDay and more than ever, we must celebrate them and the incredible, selfless work they are doing each day to save lives and combat this virus

[Kevin Bacon @kevinbacon]

Tag an ice cream lover you would have this fight with! 🤣@kyrasedgwick and I had so much fun reenacting #DumbCoupleFights with @JimmyKimmelLive. Thanks for having us on, and talking about #IFeedTheFront with @SixDegreesofKB. Link to donate https://t.co/hrKLWtLkBt

California & Australia have similar populations but only Australia crushed #COVID19. New cases = 1000 vs 9 per day. While the pundits argue about the cause, see if you notice a difference between Newport & Bondi. It's a clue.

Two weeks ago, Dr. Fauci said that he'd want Brad Pitt to play him.

Two weeks later, Brad Pitt is playing Dr. Fauci on SNL.

[Kevin Bacon @kevinbacon]

I’ve been SO MOVED by healthcare workers on the front lines risking their lives, while we stay home. I saw in all your #IStayHomeFor posts that you are too. They are tireless heroes, working in such incredibly hard situations. I have been thinking about how to honor them...

[Tara Hartman @crazytrvlr]

@creepyswagfest @davidasinclair Or it starts with the list mentioned in the reply from @TeslaOpinion a couple lines down.

[Tara Hartman @crazytrvlr]

@TIFF_NET And I forgot her acceptance speech for Sense & Sensibility 💜💜

[Tara Hartman @crazytrvlr]

@TIFF_NET Sorry - never just 1, I ADORE Emma Thompson.
Let's start at the beginning with Howard's End and Sense & Sensibility, then Primary Colors, Love Actually and her wonderful Trelawny in HP, and more recently Saving Mr Banks and The Children Act - special mention Nanny McPhee 💜💜💜

[David Sinclair @davidasinclair]

I’m more optimistic about herd immunity being reached faster, with more asymptomatic cases than it seemed just a month ago. #COVID19 has been a serious shock, but when a 5% fatal respiratory disease is spreading globally, we are going to be thankful for this wake-up call.

[David Sinclair @davidasinclair]

How does the #pandemic end & how do we prevent a deadly resurgence of #Covid_19 later in the year? Release young people back into society first, a new paper says...

[Tara Hartman @crazytrvlr]

@davidasinclair @ScienceMagazine I had some symptoms 2 weeks ago so staying home became self isolation with my cat, indoors since Sep 2019 (Calgary snow etc). We are very snuggly, lots of head butts etc. Are you saying we could be giving it back and forth to each other??? Or just me to her ??
