@PeterKalve@brookins_tim They are based on the same text but the NA will always have a more detailed apparatus than the UBS because the UBS is designed with translators in mind rather than text critics.
@MateyYanakiev Again, this is the standard view of the Greek church. They didn’t practice infant baptism to save infants because they didn’t believe in original sin.
@SJMelniszynIII @WesleyLHuff If there is a mention of giants it’s likely nothing more than a reference to a common mythology, like a cyclops or sea monster. I would be very hesitant to see it as “proof” or “confirmation” of anything in Genesis.
@SJMelniszynIII @WesleyLHuff I’m not Wes, but I can tell you that the article appears to omit the fact that this manuscript is a piece of satire. It has been discussed at length by Egyptologists in the past. And the ABR is not a very reputable group. 1/2
Quite a few people have tried to say that WLC is just following Aquinas in saying that philosophy is the handmaiden of theology but he’s actually saying the opposite. To Craig, biblical theology is the handmaiden to philosophy and science. He’s always believed and taught this.
William Lane Craig says that Adam and Eve were non-homosapien cavemen that lived 750,000 years ago, and the reasons that theologians and pastors don't know this is they are ignorant of science & philosophy, making them "impaired when it comes to doing systematic theology."
