@TigersJUK He refused to play 3B for NYY last year. Jung was already forced to 3rd, and we have Keith (and Lee coming up). Feels like an Ilitch Sr type of move that doesn’t make sense but we like getting “winning” players sometimes. Like Sheff and Damon.
Moral of the story, NEVER use StubHub for an event about to start. You could wait an hour for the ticket and the seller might not send it at all. There is no guarantee.
I didn't know this before, but if you buy tickets on StubHub for a concert or event that has already started, StubHub does not actually have the tickets so you don't get them right away. The seller has one hour to release their ticket to you. So you'll basically miss the show.
@confusion_reign Yes. But if Jung makes the team as the primary 3b it puts some stuff in motion. Same if Baez is kept on the roster. Maybe Malloy will get some work at first in spring training as a fallback. Vierling could play some there for AB’s.
@TigersJUK Maybe but then he’ll be arbitration eligible by the time he’s ready for 150 innings. Let’s see if he can get to 100 this year in a less pressured environment.
@TigersJUK If Baez isn’t too proud I wonder if trying him as UTL would work. Each week 2 starts at SS, 1 3b, 1 2b each week. He seemed to have more swagger when he played 2nd base for the cubs and Mets. Also could lessen Kreidler’s injuries.
