@StevenWMosher One could see in January public press reports in Chinese news sites of these visits, if you happened to know the names of the visiting BJ cadres. Wuhan was the most important center for chemistry very early on, and many top science guys in BJ came from Wuhan.

@StevenWMosher My supposition at the time, given that the virus attacked receptors in the lungs that are far more plentiful in Chinese, was that the virus was designed to attack HK and Taiwan, leaving infrastructure unaffected. No evidence for that, all circumstantial.

@StevenWMosher In January, I tweeted my discovery of visits by top BJ science cadres to the Wuhan Institute in the fall of 2019, to replace the director. In addition, a female employee in the lab had texted in China that the director had been known to sell lab animals to the markets.
