@ChimpReports Long overdue. We lose a lot of money in lost man-hours due to traffic jam, and bodaboda accidents. A light rail system crisscrossing the metropolis connecting the populated suburbs of mukono, gayaza, nansana, makindye and kyengera would do alot to solve this loss.
@GouInfrastruct@RailwaysUganda This is a good initiative. I hope the whole old railway is replaced with concrete sleepers. I also look forward to rail taking over haulage of goods to spare our roads and allow more tarmacked roads to permeate the local communities
Delighted to flag off the 27th group since 1996 of Ugandan Fellowship students to study in Uganda and Ireland, such energy and enthusiasm the future of Uganda is bright #Ireland#Uganda
@IEAmbUganda As secondary science educators in Uganda, we yearn for such opportunities to build capacity of our members. Fellowships - short & long term enable us improve curriculum outcomes, through best practices
Doctor Caesar was an enslaved African who made a name for himself as a gifted healer in colonial South Carolina during the mid-18th century. His expertise proved to be particularly valuable when he discovered an antidote for poisons and rattlesnake bites. This discovery led to Dr Caesar’s freedom, as he was able to negotiate his release from slavery in exchange for revealing his antidote
