@DarkMiner Never cheap out on tires. They're the only thing touching the road. That said, there may be other options that are less expensive without giving up too much capability. For example, if the car has max performance summer tires, maybe an all season tire works for you.
@drbarnard@SnazzyLabs This happens (on all lithium-ion devices) when the battery is aged or unhealthy. The amp draw causes the voltage to sag below the critical safety voltage and the BMS shuts it down to prevent a fire. Also seen on older iPhones that shut off suddenly and then restart showing 40%
Kevin O'Leary says Apple's genius is making people pay 5x more for a laptop they could buy for $350
"you can buy an Apple laptop, average price about $1,800, or you can buy the same functionality for $350 on a Windows laptop"
"but you still pay $1,800. Why? Brand"
"you're paying a 5x multiple in some cases for something that is exactly like a Windows machine"
"I put that out to people, they say, yeah, but it's not an Apple. So there is the genius of Jobs"
@seraleev When my app was featured, I measured zero impact. I spent more money having the banner images made than any marginal boost in downloads or earnings.
@iPritamX Why? They're trying the app and don't want to accidentally subscribe if they forget about it. I don't see a problem. If they enjoy your app, they'll subscribe when the trial ends and they lose access. Unwanted conversions just lead to refunds (and possibly chargebacks) anyway.
@drbarnard Yikes. Worth telling your AI about 60 vs 120fps screens, 60fps mode when in Low Power mode, and intermittent frame drops when the device is warm?
