@hubermanlab How the fuck do we not have gold standard human RCTs on this shit? There should be a definitive answer to these peptide questions. There are plenty of people who would be willing to participate in such trials. Smh.
@bryan_johnson Are they controlling for earlier mortality due to each disease? If you get Alzheimer's you die earlier on average, which reduces your chance of getting cancer; if you get cancer, you die earlier on average, which reduces your chance of getting Alzheimer's.
@stefan_bod@FaeraOthronus@RebeccaNP@peterrhague Also, you can and should retake the PSA if you start experiencing symptoms, so your assumption of a delay in care only makes sense if your PCP is inept.
@stefan_bod@FaeraOthronus@RebeccaNP@peterrhague So you think that the 10% of false negatives and the assumed delay in care relative to no testing (which is an assumption, to be clear) that a screening PSA would cause is worse than missing millions of men with undiagnosed cancer by forgoing the PSA? That doesn't make sense.
@stefan_bod@FaeraOthronus@RebeccaNP@peterrhague False reassurance is not a downside here. If we consider a false negative of a screening test vs not taking the test as someone with cancer, in either case no treatment is taken when it should be. However, at least the false negative provides peace of mind until symptoms start.
@O2_Addict_@IterIntellectus Of course it's due to the fat loss. Practically all of these miracle side effects are due to the weight loss, but people engagement bait with these stories and posts.
@SStricklandMMA Dude, you are so brainwashed by the anti-Israel propaganda. Anyone who thinks Israel is controlling US foreign policy has no clue what's going on.
