Bengaluru: This happened to a person I know..

He parked his car on the road in Sadashivanagar. There was no “NO PARKING” board anywhere.

He came back to find that traffic police had clamped his tyre. He was ready to pay the fine & leave.

He called the number on the clamp 20 times, then 100, the Commissioner’s office and Traffic Police headquarters. No help.

Finally, someone came after 2 hours but without the key to unlock the clamp! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Since he had an emergency, he had no choice but to remove the tyre, put on the stepney and leave! 💀

He then went to the police station to complain.. & had to wait another 2.5 hours just to file the complaint!

No board. No key. No accountability..
