On April 1, 1927, four young men were killed by a firing squad during the Cristero war.

One of them was Blessed Anacleto González Flores.

He was a husband, father, teacher, attorney, catechist, and Catholic social leader.

He was declared the patron of the Mexican laity.

@ProfTCSchmidt Same thing is happening with AI now. Tools can amplified existing skills, but those unwilling to acquire the skills ultimately become dependent on the tools and become replaceable, as in the example you shared above.

@ProfTCSchmidt As a translator with 15+ years experience, some back then resisted CAT tools and wanted to keep doing things manually. Those of us who adapted became significantly more productive, without losing our critical thinking, writing, analysis, or research skills.
