Elon Musk is not stealing from you.
Gavin Newsom is stealing from you.
Karen Bass is stealing from you.
Tim Walz is stealing from you.
Elizabeth Warren is stealing from you.
AOC is stealing from you.
Becoming wealthy does not make you evil.
The people who take from you, promising to fix problems and then enriching themselves while trying to get you to hate those they're taking the money from... are evil.
Things that triggered the left this week:
- a clean reflecting pool
- a name on a building
- a murderer getting convicted of murder
- a sporting event at the White House
- a successful IPO
- welders and janitors becoming millionaires
Who do you think is getting all that money?
It's not just "random people who allowed the cost of college to increase."
It's the COLLEGES WHO ARE ROBBING YOU. And not the professors, either. The dozens of layers of make-work DEI administrations are what is soaking up all that money.
This chart represents cost distributed among administrative staff, principals, and teachers, relative to student population, for public schools, not colleges.
For the colleges it is EVEN WORSE.
Imagine every time you get a bonus, raise, or promotion, Elizabeth Warren comes out hating on you like it’s her job.
What a pathetic excuse for a Senator.
If the federal government took 100% of Elon’s wealth, it would only fund the government for 52 days.
Then it’s gone, and there’s nothing left to take.
The problem isn’t trillionaires.
@dunecowboy@WKRN I'm a 5th generation Californian, I love this state. I moved to TN in 2007 and returned to CA for family/job reasons.
It was not the state I left and I weep for it.
I miss TN, but mostly I miss the California that once was.
@bonchieredstate How is this legal?
A: The Defense argued a Batson challenge for 3 strikings of Black women and the Prosecution pointed out that they were striking because the ladies were teachers.
The judge found that to be a non-pretextual reason and so denied the challenge.
@BladeoftheS Tax and spend policies coupled with corruption and a willing ally in press have left people hurting.
That's a feature...not a bug in the eyes of the political elite.
People starting businesses, building them, growing them, creating jobs is definitely not the problem.
So there's what 2, 3, 10?
My point is that the internet isn't the real world and while you may point to a dozen bad actors/ grifters, there are plenty of people in the real world who are trying to recall/reinstall traditions and values in their lives. There is a desire amongst people to live life with purpose, and to discern that which is good and that which is bad in the eyes of a higher power.
Cute theory, let's play it out.
A monkey hoards a trillion bananas. The troop, enraged, beats him to death. They gather around the pile to feast at last.
But... oh wait, there is no pile.
It turns out the "bananas" were shares in a banana-launching company the dead monkey founded.
The shares were worth a trillion because he was alive to run it.
Now he is dead and the stock is worth $0.
The retarded monkeys have clubbed their way into a recession.
But it gets worse.
Half the "bananas" were tied up in a rocket that supplies bananas to monkeys on the far mountain who had no bananas at all.
Another chunk was tied up in a little satellite dish that beamed banana coordinates to the troop after a flood took out their trees.
So now they realized they beat to death the only monkey who knew how the dish worked.
So the monkeys sit there.
No bananas.
No rockets.
No coordinates to get more banananas.
Just a dead body and a powerful sense of fairness as they all now became infinitely poorer.
OH
And somewhere a smaller monkey watches the whole thing and quietly decides he will never build anything in front of these animals again.
