Potential Alternatives to Compulsory School
If we could eliminate compulsory schooling, then we'd have a huge market for people who provide engaging, fun things for kids to do during the day.
We don't see that now because all those potentials are competing with compulsory school.

I solved a foundational problem for quantum mechanics and all future physics. I am seeking independent patronage to continue unhurried, foundational research.

The Ferrari Luce is quickly becoming the most controversial Ferrari ever. Why?
"The problem is that we are living in an era where the nostalgic approach is very high. Everybody's looking at the past, not the future..." - Ferrari Chief Designer Flavio Manzoni
"It's not that we're taking away something, but we're adding a new choice, which in some dimensions is unambiguously better. And in other dimensions you will understand them in terms of what is lacking. Perhaps it was reckless of us to do that, knowing that we will in some people's eyes be destined for failure. But I think we also love these absurd challenges..." - Jony Ive

Example: we had a doll-making course. I made a straw figure, tied it on a stick and lit it on fire, then told the course professors some crap about childhood trauma. Got an a+.
What culminated in the Ferrari Luce is what in design school we used to call faffing. Basically, make some trash and convince your professor of the high-felutin meaning and 'thinking' behind it till they are baffled into thinking it works.
I am a CBSE Class 12 student.
After receiving unexpectedly low marks in Physics, we applied for photocopies of my answer sheets through the CBSE reevaluation process.
Today we received the copies.
And I am shattered because the Physics answer sheet uploaded by CBSE is not mine
Fred Kerley ran 100 meters in 9.97 seconds Sunday night to win the Enhanced Games.
Kerley, who predicted Usain Bolt's world record of 9.58 seconds would get “destroyed,” ran a time that would have placed him last at the Paris Olympics two years ago. https://t.co/TD1JQuhqh0
I'm not sure what to say to people who don't realize our brains are literally producing the wetware equivalent of the next-predicted token with every word we say and compose.
Of course you did, @nytimes. Right as Jews are going offline for a holiday, you publish a classic sidestep piece, trying to once again defend @NickKristof's indefensibly poor reporting.
Your failure of a defense ignores the substance of the problem and addresses only the process.
Let me explain:
