@robertgraham That’s not the point of recommendations. Recommendations are useful to the practitioner within the audited organization because they can take them to leadership and say, “See, it’s not just me saying we should do this; it’s also this independent 3rd party”
@liamosaur I’d like to see auditors & reviewers use active voice in all recommendations. Passive voice results in no person or team believing they need to do anything in response to the recommendation
@robertgraham I've struggled with this philosophical q for years & concluded "right side up" is whichever way the other outlets in the room are oriented
