Pretty painful candle on the weekly chart for Gold.
Bearish divergences applying everywhere.
I do believe we're in a long-term bull cycle for Gold, but that doesn't exclude 1-2 years of consolidation.
I think we're on the verge of the rotation towards risk-on assets.

The outlook for #Altcoins & #Bitcoin are super positive.
The bottom of the markets, in terms of sentiment, are usually the best periods to start investing into assets.
That's counterintuitive, but that's simply the way it is.
This cycle is more complex, and it will continue to be more complex, with the old historical phrase of:
'History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes.' - Mark Twain
This is on many levels similar to the current market cycle:
- The 4-year cycle is gone, and the approval of the Bitcoin ETF has basically been an outlier. I'm sure we won't be having any new ATH if we didn't have the ETF in place, according to the current state of the markets.
- The liquidity cycles are still there and the correlation is super positive. In that light, we're on the edge of changing from a strong QT and panic on the financial markets towards a period of QE in the U.S. and China.
Historically, this has been a great incentive for the markets to start thriving and, with the current cycle lagging on all aspects, it's the maximum pain scenario.
Coming into the Trumps' victory of 2024 where he won the Presidency, the expectations were going through the roof:
- 2025 is going to be just like 2021, a strong bullish year, let's go!
- Trump is great for crypto, we're going to the moon!
Yes, eventually, we will, but governments take time and Trump has taken a completely different route compared to his previous period in the Oval Office.
There's no doubt in my mind that it will happen again, the confusion is just that we're currently having a more complex and different cycle than the previous cycles so it doesn't work to be looking at time-based cycles.
It works to look at price data, and liquidity, and base your strategy on that.
In that regard, I'm down ~45% on my #Altcoin portfolio and that's literally not much given the current valuations of them - low.
The ultimate game with your portfolio is to stay in the game.
There's a lot of tension on social media, a lot of negativity, but that's just because of the fact that reality doesn't meet with expectations.
However, is that solely based on the fact that expectations aren't met or is it just the time frame? The year is just barely 2.5 months in, there's still 9.5 months to go and within crypto, within that window, a lot can happen.
Anyways, it's very similar to the period we've seen in December '20, on the verge of the actual bull cycle where the markets have been hitting rock bottom sentiment and nobody expected anything to come.
We all know what happened after.
