I never really *got* Love Story but liked it fine enough. It was good, it was catchy, even if I was a bit too old for it. Then I went to Eras, and an entire NFL stadium of women and girls screaming “Marry me Juliet you never have to be alone” still makes me emotional to this day.

A very easy litmus test for this surname issue is that a man won’t take your surname. In fact, it’s an insult to men to be called by their wife’s name; it mostly happens when people perceive the man as incapable or too feminine.
