We're hiring at @AllonicRobotics !
If you're interested in 3D Tissue Braiding, the robotics it enables, and want to build something truly category-defining, DM me or apply here: https://t.co/IJ2RGxva7t
Allonic has raised a $7.2M pre-seed round!
With our proprietary 3D Tissue Braiding technology, we set out to fully automate the production of complex, dexterous and human-safe robot bodies: at a fraction of the current time and cost.
Shoutout to our incredible team and investors!
Another cool robotics company has raised a big round in Europe.
This time it's the largest pre-seed every in Hungary.
The company is re-designing robotic manufacturing.
It's created a fully automated manufacturing system that âweavesâ robotic bodies in one continuous process - a process it calls '3D Tissue Braiding'.
The company has just announced a $7.3m pre-seed round was led by @VisionariesClub (@martonsn), with participation from Day One Capital, @prototype_cap (@andreasklinger), SDAC Ventures and Tiny VC.
The company is seeing STRONG interest from the humanoid robotics sector and large âBig Techâ players in the US as the industry starts to recognise that the next frontier in hardware will be about scaling manufacturing.
It is AMAZING to see European companies coming up with novel solutions to global problems.
We need more of this đ
Friendly reminder that Invision got to $100M ARR before Figma got to $5M ARR.
The first to get big does not automatically correlate to the one who wins.
@vhmth @b3nhatch 4 weeks for me tomorrow. Feeling all these benefits - one downside, i feel became a bit less patient w my son :/ hope this will be better once the dopamine system heals
Europe doesnât lack ideas. It lacks permission to move fast! Entrepreneurs should be celebrated, not slowed down - because when businesses can compete and innovate, everyone wins. We're backing @euinc_petition to help Europe rediscover its competitive edge.
Iâm thinking of launching a community called WeekendBuilders â a space for aspiring founders who arenât quite ready to go full-time, but want to:
⥠play around with side projects
⥠experiment with ideas
⥠share learnings with like-minded people
DM If this sounds interesting
âAC this, wash dryer that, US woohoo, EU boohooâ - Why are we eating this brand-warfare from the outside about us up?
Europe has the strongest precision manufacturing in the world, we have leading teams in AI, CV, robotics. Europe is a leader in Automation and Frontier Tech!
Not a single NVIDIA chip could be produced without European machines. Not a single American cloud, robotics, or deep-tech firm would operate without European manufacturing or suppliers.
But we are too humble. Brainwashed to never celebrate Europe. By outsiders and our local politicians.
Time for a change.
Europe is the birthplace of industrialization.
The home of frontier tech.
Time, we act like it.
Welcome to the real Europe! đ„đȘđș
i can't think of a non-cliche way to say this, but everyone who says having a kid is the best thing in the world is both correct and still somehow understating it.
