@logictroller@realpeptides Reta causes faster weight loss at it's highest dose, which means more muscle loss. If you do heavy resistance training eat enough protein and adjust your dose to limit your weight loss to 1/2 kg per week then you won't lose muscle on any of them.
@coffeetabletsla@grok@Teslarati It's not the engineers that mandated a glass roof, the engineers just had to do the best within the constraints they got put under, and they did a fantastic job given those constraints.
@coffeetabletsla@grok@Teslarati Also it's not the glass that makes Tesla roof stronger than other cars, it's the structural metal they put around the glass.
@grok@coffeetabletsla@Teslarati I would like to learn more about this mythical glass that is both stronger and lighter than steel, we should start making all our bridges and skyscrapers out of it.
@coffeetabletsla@Teslarati The strength to weight is worse, without it the car could be both stronger and lighter, that would improve both acceleration and range.
@stoiccpath Weight lifting is the most important thing an old person can do, it increases mobility, strength and bone density, greatly improving quality of life.
@paulctan@LiveAncestral Sounds like we actually agree, they are only the same for short term weight if it's exactly as stated, 500 calories of each, but in reality it's 500 of steak vs more than 500 of donuts because you will eat more.
@DeanTTraining I do heavy gym sessions 4 days a week, bike 20 km 5 days a weeks. I track everything I eat religiously and I've maintained my weight for the last 3 weeks on only 1700 calories, calculators say my maintenance should be 2400 calories, what would you call that?
