@DesignerDanF @Dan_Dillon_1 Depends on the roll needed. If you need a 20, +1 doubles your chances. If you need a 15 to hit, it improves your hit percentage by 17%.
@JustinaRevolut1 For real, I have learned so much from listening to podcasts and reading social media. One of my favorites was dealing with failed investigation checks. You don't withhold information but instead, give them the information they need and also a lot of what they don't need.
@GilesPenfold The Pathfinder Adventure card game could have been a great card based RPG, same with MTG. I think a card based RPG could do quite well solo and with a GM.
@MoseyDm Plot Idea: A dragon egg was brought to the Drow who raised it in a big cavern. It will never see the light of day but... if a good party comes along... just maybe they will take one of her eggs to the surface so at least one her offspring can see the light of day.
@huskyhuskarl I would be fine with that. For myself, I decided that all intelligent creatures are neither good or evil by default but instead tend to be more neutral and pragmatic in outlook especially in large numbers. A status quo is established but of course not for long!
@GaiusNicholas It does play well with rural voters. I had to explain to my dad that his county has 1/50th the population of the "dangerous city". One murder a year in his county is the same rate as 1/week in the "crime ridden city". He could have done the math, he just didn't and most don't.
@VenTravis My friend got me hooked on those old radio shows. All good except one episode there was car accident which almost made me cause a real accident! I think the game changer for audio is that everyone has a phone and headphones now. I listen while driving and working outside.
