I can’t understand the purpose of high school programs having 2 hour practices in the same time frame that their athletes are also playing club. Plus lifting session. And if they’re in a second sport, that’s another session. Then club practice or game in the evening. Insanity.🧵

@Don_K_Williams The D-1 promises and “pathway to the pros” are 2 myths I hear too often when I speak to parents about them evaluating clubs. There’s a lot of great and well-meaning coaches out there, but there are certainly a few who make their bank on selling the dream aka “Youth $occer”
