Thanks to the incredible support from @EmbraceRelief, our psychosocial support (PSS) activities have reached over 2,000 additional children and adults, offering a safe and welcoming space to connect. Mental health is just as important to our well-being as food and water, and we’re so grateful to our partners for making this work possible.

In these photos, you can see the creations from group participants who are learning to push back against negative self-talk. Self-criticism is something we all deal with, even in the middle of unimaginable violence and destruction. These individuals are taking steps to preserve their dreams and continue forward.

The sides, including fresh fruits and vegetables, were generously provided by @sharingexcess . Together, we distributed these holiday packages to 80 families, sharing joy and warmth during this special time. The distribution was made possible with the support and guidance of Representative @RepTarik, and we are grateful to @newcourtland Senior Living for opening their doors and hosting this meaningful event.

Moments like these remind us of the power of community and giving back, spreading happiness and connection throughout the season.

🔴Breaking: Abduction of 7 individuals in Nairobi, Kenya

❗️Today, in a disturbing escalation of extraterritorial abductions, seven individuals of Turkish origin were reportedly abducted in Nairobi, Kenya. These abductions appear to be part of a continuing global operation by Turkish intelligence, targeting those allegedly affiliated with the Gülen movement. This unlawful act, conducted in violation of international human rights norms, puts the lives of these individuals at serious risk.

◼️Turkey has a documented history of extrajudicial renditions, abducting dissidents and critics from various countries. Those targeted are often subjected to torture, forced confessions, and long-term imprisonment upon return to Turkey. Despite repeated condemnations from international human rights organizations, these operations continue with alarming frequency and impunity.

We call on Kenyan authorities and the international community to take immediate action, ensure the safety of these abducted individuals, and demand their release. Kenya must not allow itself to become complicit in these unlawful operations.
