@MiddleEastGuy I’d encourage you to check out the backgrounds of almost all of those “civilian careerists” running these programs. They’re nearly all ex-military sliding into the same billets post retirement due to the way gov hiring currently dysfunctions. Toxic mil business culture is issue.

@johnkrempasky My guess is that it's harder to find information sources about RFN subs lying around when you're a non-expert journalist reaching for a lazy Russia headline. Rus defense industry probably more restricted in what they can publically brag about when it comes to subs vs surface.
